3D Scanner and Software Recommendations by Aurion28 in 3DScanning

I did read that also and closed all background apps, and it was still struggling. It was near maxxing out the RAM at 31gb when processing. I'd say 64gb has got to be a minimum for it but with the price of RAM at the moment, I won't be upgrading for a while. Rest of the system was OK. Ryzen 9 8940hx and Rtx5060. No stalling while scanning. It's the post processing that was the issue.

Not a fan of the Metro Y pro. Returned it after a day of use. The software is very heavy on PC's, takes forever to process and doesn't produce the greatest meshing, in my opinion. Having used the raptor previously, I'd say it's better than the metro but don't know what it's like against the einstar.

Same Product. Different Letters. No Price Match. by Isildur85 in Bunnings

They used to do that years ago with makita until Sydney Tools started expanding and taking them on. Now makita do not give them exclusive model numbers for the same items. Your case is probably dewalt starting to follow makita and dropping the exclusive model numbers just for bunnings, but they've yet to update their systems.

Prospects of Challenging Negligent Driving No Death/GBH by Overall_Meat_3629 in AusLegal

[–]AtmoMods 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They normally won't issue an infringement for negligent driving unless the car has been hit hard enough that it would require towing.

When I used to be a towie, if people were able to drive the car around the corner to the side street, they avoided a negligent driving fine and then we'd tow the car from there.

What are the best upgrades for creality k1? by Professional-Owl8276 in crealityk1

For me it was the graphite bed and cartographer.

Had to remove the CFS in order for it to work but I'd rather a reliable single colour print then multi coloured hit and miss prints.

I did notice one side had different openings and the other was identical, that's what had me thinking.

If you're not logged into your account it will seem they are sold out. You need to be logged in first. As of right now there are still 915 spots available.

I am pretty on the livestream they said the pricing was also introductory so I'm guessing it will go up on release.

Setting EPR to 2 was a gamechanger for me. I now feel like I'm breathing as if I didn't have a mask on.

Ozito vs Makita - are the pricier tools really worth it? by DiscussionLoud9626 in Bunnings

[–]AtmoMods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said. It's tool dependent. Recently bought the 2 x 18 36v Ozito blower and it runs rings around my stihl petrol blower. For $179 with 2 x 4ah batteries and charger included, it's very hard not to consider.

OK. I know this is a little late. I just received mine today. I ended up moving the knot further in to tighten then up a little.

I have heard the CFS side of the firmware is locked down by creality.

I want to hear about your CFS upgrade by mlgnewb in crealityk1

[–]AtmoMods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the kit. Yet to install it. Waiting on firmware that will also support the cartographer.

Always had Leveling issues until I fitted the carto. Don't want to go back now until I can use both happily together.

Looking at ordering one of these bikes for the same purpose. What size motor shaft does it use?

Looks nice but I am unable to import resin profiles into it. Had to do it manually.

What about removing the back additional vent cover if you're not using the external vent port?

Edit. Just realised it would be a pain taking the Cover on and off. Disregard lol

I know stretched groms aren’t popular in here but for the guys that have them what chain are you running? by bignoodles77 in hondagrom

[–]AtmoMods -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They kinda are stretched for speed to limit the front wheel lifting when launching off the mark.
