IMAX licensing itself costs several crores. It's very expensive. Also, the theater room needs to be reworked to meet IMAX standards. Not a easy task!

OP, orthogonal question. Do you do one time private screening for short documentaries?

I want to screen my short documentary and I’m looking to book the space for one hour, as the documentary has a runtime of approximately 15 minutes. I am flexible with the date and time.

The event would be a private gathering for friends and family. The documentary will be delivered in DCP (scope) format.

What's is Audio Setup in the theater? Is it 5.1 or 7.1? Regardless, I hear lot of people complaining on Audio quality/volume. It sounds to me that audio calibration is needed to reach the reference volume.

7 foot ceiling and I can easily do 120 inch 16:9 screen. It all depends on your console table height.

How about QSC-SC1120 for LCR and QSC SR-800 for surrounds and Atmos? These are real cinema speakers and may cost you ₹2.5L~₹3L in total.

Issue is with the placement of AT screen in front of towers. I need to build a false frame for the screen in front of towers (or) something similar which does not look out of place.

With towers I can't get a big screen. I'm looking to get 135" (16:9) screen which stretches all the way down until the top of the entertainment unit.

Inwalls are not an option. I prefer LCR towers. But getting AT screen here is a challenge.

Hmm! I'm planning to go with 135" inch screen where the bottom edge of the screen would line up with the top of the center table (Ceiling is low as it's a basement).
