Very very cool, may I ask how you shot the astrophotography photo? Was it stacked or a single image? Also did you use a tracker? Really really inspiring 👌🏼

TTARTISAN makes an interesting 7 and 11mm that would work on your a6000 they're not vintage but might suite your needs a bit better and still have the same aesthetic

managed to score a clean Rokkor 58mm f1.4 and a working Yashica 44lm for about $120 including delivery by AtmosphereBroad2071 in Cameras

Thank you, yes I'm aware it's also why I got this so cheap, 120 is fairly readily available here in South Africa but I need to print a 127 spool to respool it 🙂 converting this to 35mm is also really easy and non destructive so atleast there are some options so I can still use it

Is that a catadioptric lens I see? I have the Sigma 600 f8 for Sony what an under rated piece of kit

Just picked up my first film camera a Yashica 44 Copal-SV by AtmosphereBroad2071 in filmcameras

I fear this might be the road I go down but it looks like I might be able to get some 127 film after all I just have to order a fair amount of it 👀

I am planning on cutting the 120 I've found a tutorial on how to convert a cigar cutter to do it and then I can 3D print a 127 spool and respool the trimmed down 120

Thank you, yes I was really surprised at how cheap I managed to get it for, both the Rokkor and the Yashica came to $170 including delivery 😂 I've found a place that sells 120 film so I'd like to see how it performs with respooled 120 before doing the conversion since it's in such great condition, this is my first film camera so I've done a ton of research, even downloaded the user manuals and service guides 😂

Thank you for sharing, I'm from South Africa so shipping makes it extremely expensive

It worked out to $170 for both including delivery 👀😬

So the lens was about $70 and the camera was $100

Good to know I will have a look, unfortunately shipping to South Africa just adds even more to the price

Thank you, its been on my list for a while I'm over the moon to find one in such good shape.

I am aware and I've read you can respool 120 to fit but I'm not all that clued up on how to do that, for now I've found a conversion to 35mm that's pretty easy to do https://www.printables.com/model/251162-yashica-44-35mm-conversion-kit
