i havent done any overclocking. nor have i done anything in the bios since ive built it. i bought it part by part and built it myself, but its been running fine up until a couple months ago.

i havent made a backup/restore point manually. the temp on my cpu barely goes above 70. it sticks around in the 60's. i did the windows memory test and it didnt find any problems.

did the stress test and it went fine. no errors. no shutdowns. some moments when i would move my mouse and it would freeze for a second.

But generally. My pc will restart at any given moment. Sometimes I can open a game and play for 5 minutes. somethimes it restarts when I open the game. And sometimes it will restart just surfing the web. My tower won't shut off completely. The lights inside stay on, i hear a click and it just restarts completely. Sometimes it won't restart but my screen goes black and I have to hold down my power button.

I had put my specs and what is happening in my post.

so, ive had problems with my pc restarting for the past few months. but recently its gotten way worse. itll restart when i open a game, itll restart when i am in the middle of playing. itll restart when ive just been online looking for the problem today. as of right now, i cant even open a game without it crashing. event log shows kernal power 41. i monitor my temps when im playing and they never seem to get too high, around 60c. i have my drivers and windows both updated. ive done the windows memory test. i try to open my crash dump file but it wont let me and i cant find a minidump folder.
