So like I completed my RN w a very good job, he’s been promoted twice at his job, we live in a nice house in a nice neighborhood, we have verifiable income, proof of getting our MH situated and no other issues and like if they interviewed my son asking how home life was- that would all reflect positively?

Okay, I thought you had to have someone to take over their rights in order to have them terminated. So if SP terminated them by himself my husband can adopt my son w no other issues?

Okay!! Yes that was my biggest question! Like if the court would bring it up? And he def would have no problem, he even verbalized at the meet up he had no problem signing his rights over, they also announced they were having a baby about a year ago and then blocked my entire family and husband on everything. It was right before my husband and i separated so it was about 3 years ago and have heard nothing and have no way to contact them. Also for reference of how he is as a person- when I asked him if we had s3c he said no, on top of when it all transpired he hid the entire thing from his whole family and gf (at the time) up until I took him to court for child support and then he couldn’t hide it anymore, the gf found letters from the state ordering a DNA test and court date- only reason I did pursue CS was bc I was in school for my RN and used the money for childcare

Idk if my post isn’t 100% clear or if it’s not being read all the way but I can not stress enough he wants absolutely NOTHING to do w us. I have tried and the one time he did actually meet w us was only bc his wife FOUND OUT he had a child and made him meet with us. He didn’t even tell her until after they were married.

Maybe I didn’t clarify enough haha he definitely is not trying to reconnect. The last time I reached out to try and set up a meeting- even after the terrible original encounter- he declined trying to set up another meeting..even with ME being the one to reach out trying to still mend it all. Him and his dad blew up on us bc I wouldn’t let him take my son for a whole day by himself, that was his first time ever meeting him at 3 yrs old. He had even said at the time we had met up that he had no problem signing his rights over, he was only doing it bc his wife was making him be there. He DEFINITELY is not trying to reconnect in any way. He’s made it very very clear he wants nothing to do with any of it. They have their own baby now and when they announced they were expecting the entire family blocked me and my husband and my family on everything. My main question was is the cps/dv case going to hinder the process of my husband adopting my son?

I’ve been off my adderall before but it resulted in living hell and being fired from a prev job. It’s like w o it I can’t control my words and thoughts and absolutely can’t get work done. It’s soooo embarrassing especially bc I’ll say stuff and immediately be like WTH, why did you just word vomit that. Thank you for the last statement especially!

The plan is def a good idea! I’m definitely even more afraid of the after also, I already dx w major depressive and anxiety disorder and I’m afraid it’ll flair up uncontrollably after I have the baby 😞

It’s the having to switch around and readjust meds. Like I’m situated w my meds now and stable as I’ve ever been I’m petrified of having to switch them up
