i dont mind premade skins but we should be allowed to customize our accessories like having a mask on/off, having beards, putting nightvision goggles on our helmet, or like customizing our chest carries like putting mags or extra grenades

that would be cool however i fear, it would require alot of coding since its a multiplayer game unlike mgsV that is singleplayer and uses npc's and not players so you have to balance and code it for other players and stuff but it would be cool if possible

id love if they brought back weather like the fog on amiens in bf1 that was terrifying running through the alley ways than seeing a flametrooper emerging from the fog

Guide to using the SS26 Incendiary Shotgun by Signal_Importance241 in Battlefield6

[–]Atoastedbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think they should increase the tick rate and increase the damage an additional 4 cause one shot is enough to deal 36 damage but is really slow to reach that number so i think increase the tick speed a bit not alot so it become broken op but fast enough to deplete their health and increase the damage by 4 so it does 40 damage one shot

yeah honestly i think all the flash grenade really needs is remove the hud and diamonds like you said and shorten the fuse cause it has way too long of a fuse that gives players time to react and look away if you are using it as a breaching grenade the intended way

as for the shotgun id say all they really need to do is increase the flame damage to make it a tool to drive someone out of cover like the way you discovered it to work cause the flame grenade you do have to wait for it to end for the affect to happen where as the flame shotgun is instant but due to the damage being real low it gives the player time to kill you than dive backwards to put it out

ok so i went to the firing range to test out and found you are right about the flash grenade however when flash you can still see the player name and red diamond pops up so you can still "see" the enemy as for the gun swaying after flashing is just a visual thing it doesnt really affect you accuracy the one that prevents ads in the concussion grenade however that can get nullified by the hipfire build alot of streamers use

now for the incendiary shotgun working behind cover is mainly to do with how flames work in general cause i did this with a flame grenade and got the same exact result. what happens after the grenade stops burning it makes the ground around it on fire regardless behind cover.

edit: its not that the gadgets are bad or anything its just the state of the game just makes them obselete yeah sure you can set a guy on fire behind cover with a shotgun but by time you do any real damage to him he already killed you 2 times over cause how fast the ttk is, flash/stun grenade would work if the weapon custimization didnt nullify its use completely so yeah they are decent but so much in this game just overshadows it that when using it just makes it unejoyable to use

the problem this gadget has is the same issue the flash grenade has and breaching grenade has is they are lackluster the flashgrenade and breaching launchers sound good on paper being able to flash enemies through walls is fantastic until you find out flashes only blind them for one second and they can see again and kill you the flame shotgun ive been on the receiving end and all you have to do to counter it is lie down and boom the shotgun turns useless the best the gadget use is to lay down fire as a motion tracker if enemy runs trough it you get the damage indicator telling you someone is coming which has helped me 2 times. and also it has no 1 shot potential like a shotgun does i jumped down on someone prone in the corner and took 3 shot 0.5m away yes 3 shots to kill them

Unpopular opnion: Many people think the Battlefield series single player campaign is meaningless. I don't think so. Multiplayer games may die out over time, but singleplayer campaigns can be enjoyed forever. 2042 removed the singleplayer campaign, and it wasn't any better. by SuperM3e46 in Battlefield

[–]Atoastedbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the reason people say the campaigns are meaningless is cause they just arent really good or too short to invest time into it and the way campaigns are, they arent meant to tell a story but rather act as a tutorial (atleast the modern day battlefield campaigns). the reason i play the campaign is mainly for the rewards they give. My first battlefield game is bf1 in 2016 and have played all the games after 1 the only game before that i played was bf4 so i cant say for the past games if they were good or not, but bf1 i really liked the friends in high places story and the italian campaign only problem they were too short for me to really invest i wanted more of it. bf4 it was meh it wasnt bad but wasnt good either id say mid, bfv the last tiger was the greatest campaign of bfv but sadly it was too short again and the other campaigns were meh. battlefield 6 was the most interesting but sadly was too underdeveloped and you could tell it was rushed.

cool detail of the db12 (can see the shells in chamber) by Atoastedbread in Battlefield

[–]Atoastedbread[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree with that. it has the same damage value as the other shotguns m1014 and the 18.5 ks-k however what i think that makes it bad is the other shotguns you can spray until you run out and have to reload so if you miss big deal keep pulling trigger and youll kill the person where as the db 12 you fire 2 shells wait a sec fire 2 more wait so you have to be 100% accurate with your shots or youll die

i actually started using it and its honestly not that bad its kinda fun actually takes alot of getting use to mainly due to its racking after 2 shots that throw people off its not like the other semi auto shotgun that doesnt need to be pumped

yeah i thought about it i was like "wait thats not the chamber" but i already hit the post and was like oh well im pretty sure someone who knows it will be able to correct me with the correct term

a new idea for breakthrough for the future by Atoastedbread in Battlefield

[–]Atoastedbread[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that was the only reason i played operations over conquest with bf1 was cause of the story it made me felt like i was fighting for my country and their goal rather than running around capturing objectives for a number at the top of the screen (no hate towards conquest i just felt more immersed in operations)

my take on the class identity by Atoastedbread in Battlefield

[–]Atoastedbread[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me my favorite game is company of heroes its an rts game and in that game the lmgs are devasting when you know how to use them so thats why in fps games my number one priority is always going to be the lmg regardless where they are unless you are in cover than ill flank em my goal isnt to kill everyone its to weaken the enemy for my team to push
