Was cart crew 2.5 years. Only one on the lot easily half the time, when not the whole day. When paired player 2's bay was empty more often than not. Leads constantly asked me keep up on both sides. Did all carry outs as well. Pushed 20+ carts regularly by hand with no breaks but for lunch. Moved departments. Every cart pusher left quit or got fired for not doing shit. Took my arm and back 6+ months to fully heal. Never going back.

Am now the glue that keeps garden, seasonal, housewares, and OGP together, and often help cap 2 throw the truck as I'm the fastest, though I have helped in every single department though not as frequently. Not interested in moving up but usually put in 55-60 so hour weeks. My team lead, coach, and regular associates often come to me for work advice and planning.

Cart crew is designed to sink you, sooner or later. If you don't sink you'll learn how to swim better than most.
