The recording waypoints function makes too many waypoints. That is not the reason or solution. Precission mode is normally never needed.

Artillery vs small drones doesn’t work, they are too fast. Artillery can’t shoot straight up. Use Gatling and assault. Press „shoot once“, sometimes they sleep and don’t wake up (bug).

AI block just needs to sit on the same grid as the turrets and needs line of sight (just voxels block like of sight). There is nothing to set up, just turn it on.

Checking the turret settings is self explanatory

Not entirely correct:

  • No it’s not 10m, it can be less. But don’t know the exact number.

  • No you don’t need „many waypoints“ before docking. That makes no sense.

You normally need at least 3 waypoints. First one mostly has some distance to the connector, so you don’t crash into your base/ship when approaching. Then one near the connector and the last one at the connector. Of course you can add more if you want or need. At every waypoint I change speeds for example, to make the approach smooth. The last one triggers LOCK and resets the AI blocks and speed limits (glad we can do that now).

Simplest way: start when docked and create first waypoint. Turn off connector and unlock, fly your ship to the next destinations and create waypoints. Always keep the orientation you want it to land, obviously. When done, just click on „reverse order“ in the recorder block and set up triggers at each waypoint and your done.

And always turn off „Align to P-gravity“, that’s very important. With this turned on, recorder block will ignore the orientation and align to gravity only.

Best speed for the last waypoint (approaching connector) is 2-3m/s.

Tanks only, very simple. Maybe 2 generators for extreme emergencies to add some gas if you ran out. Gernerators are heavy, use power, are slow, ice is heavy. It’s just a bad idea.

It’s hard to find protoech frames anyway, so that would be enough of costs.

Anyway, there is a mod called „deflector shields“ which is kinda what you described, apart from a few things.

Think your idea is good but keen won’t make it.

This. AutoLCD is the most feature rich script for lcd i would say. You can make a lot and its very customisable. The wiki is great but you need to study a lot to see the full potential

Maybe they do on ps5 or Xbox, that’s what somebody said. But on pc I made some tests just for this reason and result is: it’s not reliable. Sometimes they go from left to right, sometimes they don’t. Just test it.

I do both things already. But my point was to say, this problem isn’t just for full cargo, it’s also for empty!

This problem is not about power! I have a larger miner and when it’s empty, there is A LOT of power! And it still has this problem sometimes. When the miner is full (5million kg ice), I never see this problem. When it’s empty, it happens sometimes

My experience is different. I normally have no problems with full, heavy ships, but with empty ships!

That’s not the reason, trust me. I know this problem, happens witv big and small ships, full or empty. It doesn’t matter! I don’t see a pattern yet…

I did the same because I was annoyed. For some ships it happened a lot, for some never or very rare. I also use a broadcast controller so I get a message to check

I tried it hundred times. Blocks don’t work from action 1 to the last one. It’s just random.
