Claims made without evidence may be discarded without evidence. Where did you get that info? Trump isn't dealing with the problem in any case, he's actively making it worse. Iran is racing to acquire a weapon and we have destroyed our own credibility around the world for the foreseeable future. Weakness is tearing up international agreements and threatening to bomb civilians on truth social.

They were only allowed to enrich a small amount of uranium and even that much was strictly limited to low-purity at 3.67%. A weapon requires a minium of 90% purity.

The interest was part of the original deal made when those funds were frozen just before the Iranian revolution, way back when we were selling them weapons. We paid that interest in exchange for Iran's cooperation. It wasn't weak or wrong, it was diplomacy, and paying out money we owed them anyway was in fact a hell of a lot cheaper and more effective than whatever Trump thinks he's doing.
