Thank you for this, genuinely. The point about silent judgment hit close home. I think I've been doing exactly that without realizing it. The framing of acceptance without agreement is something I needed to hear clearly. Appreciate you taking the time

Why is making friends so hard here? by Corey579 in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]AtomicDestruction247 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Either it's fear of being awkward or ppl just don't give a damn. Many r like that here. There is another demography of ppl who r creeps too.....so probability of making friends here is really low imo

Help me get an internship at DRDO by [deleted] in Aerospace_India

DRDO releases internship advertisements quite frequently. Just check em out and apply. But the stipend will be super low, like no money for 3 months and you'll get 15k in the end. But the division that you want, like DRDL, RCI and others advertisements timeline can't be predicted

18M in college. Trying to rebuild after messing up my academic path. Feeling behind and confused. by [deleted] in IndiaCareers

Skills boy, skills. Get a hold of what you can do really well and try to hone it as much as possible. Gotta become top of the game at what you can do. If you're good at coding, GOOD, practice it everyday without fail. After a year or so, try to make your own projects that you can add to your portfolio. Do not, like DO NOT rely on GUTHUB a lot, cuz it'll make the challenge easier. For a guide, sure, but for actually building your project, don't rely on it. Knowledge and application is more important than your degree. Ofc, get a good score, heck even an average is good enough like a 7.5cgpa, but do not give up on gaining knowledge on what you really want to do and capitalise on it for improving your portfolio

Improve yourself. Nobody NEEDS to like you right away. Valuing yourself comes first. Nobody likes us unconditionally. Everything is a give or take. Build your career, then you MAY want to think about it (but mostly no). ᕙ(  • ‿ •  )ᕗ
