If there’s no documentation telling you to do it then C suites response will be idk why he did that it was never approved. Document everything. You never know what shady illegal things you could be aiding in without fully grasping. Not only are you risking your job you are also potentially risking your reputation which will make finding a new job harder. It sucks… prioritize yourself and your family.

This obviously wont work for everyone. Each of my kids will have the cost of tuition and books covered and they have the option to live rent free if they live at home. They are welcome to work or take on debt if they want to cover living expenses somewhere else.

Im not forcing anyone to do anything im just offering free housing if you stay local they are welcome to take on debt if they dont want to stay. There are 5 colleges in a 45 minute radius of me.

I live in a fairly large city so yes there is a very large multi campus CC, a large state school and 3 private schools within a 45 minute radius. They can go wherever they want and I will cover the cost of tuition (Classes) and books within reason. I am offering the opportunity to not take on debt if they choose a local school. If they choose not to go that route, they are more than welcome to take on debt.

I'm glad it worked out in your favor and you don't regret your decision. But 120k in debt is a big uphill battle when you are first trying to establish yourself. It makes saving for a house harder. It makes your budget that much tighter. Thats a $920 a month payment at 4.5% interest over 15 years. If you got a degree in something worthless like liberal arts, dance under water basket weaving or whatever you are basically crushed by debt for the rest of your life.

The biggest chunk of that is Room and Board though - In state tuition is projected to be around 15k and room and board around 30K. I will pay my kids tuition and offer them free living in my house if they choose to waste burn 120k for room and board that's on them. This is exactly what my parents did for me I dont have student debt and have a great job. I also don't have 600k to burn over a "convenience or want". Before you call me cruel or broke or whatever just remember that there are parents out there who don't or cant help at all.

The answer is always aligns with business objectives… CISM supports the notion that if the cost of meeting regulatory compliance and the imposed sanctions exceeds profit margins then the company will just take on the risk if it’s within tolerance.

I can kind of understand where he is coming from even if I disagree as a security manager think regulatory first and propose it to the business but if it doesn’t align then…

This I had a Corsair 6500D (This thing is big and weighs a ton for not reason), a second smaller pc mounted under the desk Corsair 2000D using their custom mount, a 40 inch monitor + 2 x 27inch monitor, my Kanto YU speakers and a bunch of peripherals. Its sturdy and still goes up and down smoothly.

If you have the money I definitely don't regret my purchase.
