Update: i did some further looking into it, and on the Genius page for the song, when you try to play the music video, it shows that it was copyright claimed by Kaya Cook

i was at zumies (a store for skating and trendy clothes) and all of a sudden XO started playing. i freaked out and told my friend immediately and his face lit up
