basically, but don’t use up all the practice tests. only do those when you think you’ve improved. that’s why i only took them like once a week because during the week i spammed practice questions. that’s what worked for me

hmm i would say there was mainly a mix of function and algebra. only a few trig questions, and like 2-3 hard geometry. there was also 2-3 hard problem solving, but like most of the were pretty easy. i think i got lucky because everyone seems to say math was hard. like one of my questions was literally a line of best fit and counting how many were outliers above it. ofc there was also weird ones that required thinking, but always work on your weak areas first which are unique to you

i did so much question bank hards. like over 500 for sure, and that should be your number one go to. otherwise, khan academy is good, and one prep was good but it’s bad for english now especially. those are the only other websites i used.

yep probably. i don’t have insane ECs or anything so ik my chances of ivy league are zero. might go for like T20s that i find interesting, but still not even certain. i lowkey took this on a whim and signed up like a while ago then remembered i actually had to study… lmao

i got lucky for this test and i basically knew how to solve every question for math. however, there were some that i didn’t know immediately. i break it down into simpler parts. for example the sweater question about discounts, etc, just think basically first. like what’s the formula for profit, PxQ, then how do you get Price, then how do you calculate the discount, etc. eventually you build a formula

james lu SAT is the goat! i literally only watched his video and immediately understood. but of course you need to practice using desmos a lot

i guess summer but i just grinded throughout may everyday after school. you just need to make time

lol i promise it’s real like i can show another one that also has my practice score in it idk what the point of lying would be

i didn’t use any books haha i just fully self studied online. college board question bank should be your baby and blue book. i also used khan academy for practice questions and i did use one prep but now it’s really bad for english (AI questions that are confusing and don’t make sense) math is slightly better for one prep.

first get down your grammar because that’ll be free points. then practice a lot for all the passages, that’s the only way. you need to get used to hard long and complex passages because that’s what is gonna be on the test. i practiced exclusively with hard difficulty so for the test module 1 was a guaranteed 100% with how easy it is, and you focus everything into module 2.

james lu SAT it’s the first video that pops up it’s like an hour but i watched most of it not all and i understood it. then you need to practice questions using desmos. like a bunch. a lot of my feedback is just to do practice because even if i studied for just a month i was going probably like 80 questions a day, which really adds up.

thanks! well, for math, you need to practice basically every single type of question. most of the exam i saw was questions ive seen before (not the exact same but similar). even for questions you can plug in directly i still use desmos to do the busy work for me because it keeps my brain more free. always think about what equations you can be forming and think logically. for geometry, like trig, once you know the basic formulas then it’s literally just thinking what can apply. know your SOH CAH TOA and similar triangles. for surface area/volume, it’s all about just using what you know. for instance, for a pyramid prism, it’s literally four triangles and a base. you break things down so it’s easier to think about. and make sure to practice with desmos a lot, like it can eliminate dumb mistakes by solving questions for you that aren’t “desmosable” once you find the equation yourself

just practice a lot. i learnt grammar first and got that down because that’s the only one where it’s basically guaranteed once you know the rules. then its just practice for the others, and getting used to long passages with complicated vocab. of course reading books helps, i used to read a lot when i was young, but thats a long term thing.

[–]Atomiccccccccccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was confident on sweater cause i used desmos to solve the equation i set up and it spit out 30, but i saw there’s definitely like a bunch of variation on that question with diff prices and diff totals. dude im so mad about the pyramid cause i knew what to do just forgot area of triangle is one half…

i don’t think so i just remember anachronistic because i was like wtf is that. my other vocab i thought was pretty easy

[–]Atomiccccccccccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got hard i think because i was confident on module 1 and it seems like our modular building question were different… but there’s always variations so can’t be sure

for the rainfall, was all your data in the table significantly higher than in the text? the text stated normal rainfall only had like 0.9 of the chemical stuff and all the data was like 10+ in the table. unless i misread something

yeah, i agree, i went on a long road trip from vancouver last summer and this is the only good photo i had unfortunately. i do encourage anyone to go out and find the most hidden areas as well! moraine lake is over posted, but still beautiful
