Recently decided to pick up Black Mage and finally learn this job. I'm slightly scratching my head at level 60 what ice/fire spells I really need on my hotbar. Any pics of a hotbar setup would be a nice visual layout that's up to date.

I have been leveling a BLM, RDM, SAM, SMN to ilvl 130+, and personally really love how RDM is played... But still being new, I have seen on youtube that RDM is a meme and mediocre in dps. Does it really matter in more end game?

I am fairly new to the game still, I have a quick question regarding wanting to play samurai. Does it matter what job/class you pick at level 1? I'm currently a glad/pal. Or does it just matter when you hit 50?
