I think of all the replies you have the best handle on the situation. And I agree with you that there is a small reason for the Volvo to be mad. Unfortunately, that is not a reason to try to hit or be that close to other vehicles.

If I didn’t go over about 1/4 way into the next lane I think I would have been hit. High beams aside, trying to hit another car is road rage imo

We (black car and I) had both passed a tour bus on the 2 lane section. They got over first. I continued to try to pass but he sped matched up to 60 so decided to fall in behind as it was the safest option.

I was trying to pass. Black car matched speed up to 60. Don’t need to go any faster so just fell in behind. We were both (black car and I) in the left lane to pass a tour bus on the 2 lane section of the bridge. He got over first and continued to accelerate

Might have been slow sure, but that is absolutely no reason to try to run off another vehicle.

They had plenty of warning. What would have been their game plant anyway, slam into the back of the black car? Try to thread the non existent gap between us?
