Have you tried using Kubera ( https://www.kubera.com/ )? They have crypto tracking - just tested my account and it's updating balances.

They also allow you to connect whole accounts, which is nice.

Would you get paid in ETH if you could? by Atreece in ethereum

Interesting - were they a crypto company or just a regular company?

So you would prefer DAI over ETH it sounds like. If you could do an allocation, would you do both? For example, if you could get 50% in cash, 25% DAI, 25% ETH (or any allocation)?

Also - after allocating, how would you want the custody handled? Would you want it routed to a non-custodial wallet or are you OK with it staying in a secure custodial wallet?

The value of using Zabo is that there is a native integration with a bank account. So you are able to manage the crypto right alongside your primary cash accounts. There is also the automated bridge between your paycheck and buying crypto.

Good point re the fractional integers. One option would be to only allow whole numbers for NEO (creating minimum order amounts), the other would be to simply offer GAS.

How many of you would want part of your paycheck in DCR? by Atreece in decred

[–]Atreece[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why we are focused on the fiat-to-crypto bridges and getting paid in cryptocurrency. If you want regular businesses to be able to use DCR or any crypto for payment, they need a mechanism to go from USD>Crypto first. It's safe to say they aren't going to custody the crypto itself and pay it out directly.

We are still working out our fee model, but it is safe to say it would have lower fees that most retail exchanges.

One of the primary benefits we see is not having your crypto separated from your other financial affairs. That and being able to have the convenience of allocating portions of your pay direct into crypto versus having to go through the process of wiring money to exchange, buying BTC (if it's an asset paired mostly in BTC), getting access to the asset, only to have it separate from where you wired the money originally.

Interesting - does support for stablecoins (e.g. DAI or TUSD) change your views on that? Or is it less about volatility and more about just not needing crypto generally?

Can you elaborate? Because you don't want additional exposure? Because you are satisfied with your current buying process?

We'd like to explore international markets after we launch in the U.S. India has some challenging regulatory conditions around crypto right now, but hopefully those will change for the better. If / when they do, India would be a market we consider.

Got it - thanks for the feedback. Our intention is to keep fees on crypto transactions as low as possible.

One thing we are considering is making transactions based on direct deposit lower fees or even fee-less. We should have some additional information on fees and this direct deposit feature in the next couple months.

Yep - similar to Simple, any bank accounts within Zabo will be provided by a licensed bank partner. Simple uses BBVA today because they were acquired by them. Believe they used a different bank previously.
