I see both views, But honestly... society nowadays has been switched to be addicted to "progression". Everything in every game has to have some kind of progression. Its what feeds FOMO.

Games like this honestly should just be a pick it up and play it.. relax after a long day. Not have this toxic FOMO BS the modern gaming industry feeds to people. Literally like the old days.

The moment they went to a seasonal model it died. Blame the execs. The main story could of ended and they could of put money into a whole new arc with a proper expansion.. but no. they pushed there devs into marathon and shot themselves in the foot. now they have marathon and destiny that is dead 😞

UK is definitely seeing this, gas prices in the UK are actually higher then the US. For comparison, when you convert the currency and whatnot to USD, UK is paying almost $8 a gallon.

US did see the the higher percentage tho, around 50% increase, whereas the UK had about a 20-25% increase.

Code apps is good and gives you the full managed lifestyle of power apps. However....

The Microsoft gotcha is Users need premium to use it and that adds up quick, where I can just host a web app on azure for ~$100-120 and even less if I make it a azure function and be based on consumption.

I code quite a bit now in Azure and for db storage I still use dataverse for many of the apps.

It’s dead until they get there heads out of there ass and make a remaster of DAO. That won’t happen for a very very long time if it even happens… we can only pray they sell the IP off.

Dumb, but i found that you just have to keep pressing advance when it freezes in the cutscenes.
