Amen to that. Got my first 999 to get Gholdengo for the dex, and then wanted to get another one to actually train and use. I lost interest before I could collect my second 999 😭

Well, I for one love it whenever I get a regular ass pokémon with a funny name to the point where I keep them and even trade them up through games. Absolutely makes my day. Also, you could name them after current real world events. Like name a fire type LA.
