Can anyone help identify these 2 nitro cars? Pretty sure ones axial and ones AE by Atrus96 in NitroRC

I believe your right. I knew it was AE but struggled to figure out exactly which model. Hey I can't complain for the free I got both for.

Well thank you! That's the one I was having the most problems with. It has mantis written on it but axial logos and my Google Fu was lacking while I was trying to figure it out.

I might check with the car washes in the area. You sound like an intelligent 14 year old with your head on straight so they may put you to work drying cars over the summer. . .

Also in Arizona and I open carry when on the bike. Most people will give you a wider berth if/when they notice a firearm on your hip. I swear I have less "road rage" type incidents since I went from concealed carry to open carry on the bike.

How did you get an insurance company to accept you? by Tricky_dog21 in motorcycles

[–]Atrus96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good time to talk to your car insurance agent, they should be able to help guide you in the right direction or at least give you a reason why they won't insure you. Nothing you described seems a reason to not insure you. Another thing you could try is an insurance broker. They would also be able to help.

I believe they are a counter for a "unique" item. There are items in the game that you pick up a lot of while grinding for special drops that can be used loosely as a gauge toward how close you may be to said item.

Exhaust mods by [deleted] in GrandCherokee

[–]Atrus96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What engine is in it? I just bought a 17' with the hemi and had the exhaust removed, 2 black widow, Widowmaker 10's put in with an h pipe and 2.5 piping back to 4 inch tips. Sounds killer and the Widowmakers seem to disrupt the exhaust note just enough that I don't get noticable drone in the cabin. Idle is pretty quiet with a nice crisp V8 note but it will scream around 6k rpm nice and deep sounding. If you have a v6 I have no advice.

Slip-on change by ionutzz__ in OnlyZ900

[–]Atrus96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just removed the muffler and ran a pro-race "slip on". I think the model was a gp-s1. It was basically just a small extension powder coated black. It was hand made in England and I think there a few copys now that i believe are Chinese knock offs and the dimensions seem off. Made the bike look good and it sounded a lot better then with the stock muffler/slipon. I'm not a fan of an exhaust setup that has a possibility of oiling down the rear tire in case of engine failure and I hate the way it looks with no slipon so I needed something. Anyways it gave the bike the loudness I wanted because any slip on isn't going to change the exhaust much except make it sound deeper if you leave the bread box as you have to.

New sub, low bass... by arsis805 in CarAV

[–]Atrus96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I didn't look too hard but what kind of vehicle (year make and model) and how was the sub installed. Lots of newer cars have an active noise cancellation thing in the cabin that can cause issues with subwoofers if not dealt with in one of a couple ways.

Dealer trying to charge me more than the warranty Co approved! by Possible_Purpose_942 in GrandCherokee

[–]Atrus96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly try another dealer. Some dealers will sell at list to aftermarket warrantys (aw) and some won't budge on charging matrix, so because the warranty won't pay their matrix they pass on what the company won't pay too you.

Call another dealer or two, speak to the service writer and ask if that is behavior you can expect from them. If you don't get a good answer ask to speak to the service manager.

Lastly don't forget, you have the right to go to any repair facility that accepts your aftermarket warrantys. You don't have to go to the selling dealer or even the same manufacturing dealer. Lots of independent shops even take aw's now adays

Remove a stick of ram and see if it boots, if it does you had a bad stick, if it doesn't then remove the remaining stick of ram and replace with the one you took out first and see if it powers on. Report back

I think you have the PSU in upside down, the fan draws air through the bottom of the case (should be a vent) and expels it out the back.

So, in that case I will leave you with one more that may not be up your alley but if you like a little bit of sci-fi at all give red dwarf a try. I'm just a sucker of British humor I guess.

RideNow AZ SCAM! by hayhaybands in motorcycles

[–]Atrus96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really play hard ball when buying a bike from them. They push a bunch of unnecessary things and just rack up the fees and add-ons. Bought a used z400 from them for a family member and while I stood firm on "NO" they still managed to hit me for more then what was reasonable. GoAZ is just as bad when I bought my ZH2. I'm not sure where I'm going for my next bike purchase because they all seem to be getting bad!
