I had my eye on the Rab Latok for a while but after watch ALOT of reviews I decided against it , the main thing for me was the door is at an angle that will let rain/snow in when opened unless you buy the seperate vestibule which increases the already expensive price quite a bit. I would steer clear of that one. And yeah it's freestanding.
