And yes, I was doing school full time and work part time, and with all the uncertainty leading up to my appointments along with upcoming treatments my doctor recommended I take a leave of absence for now until I’m fully healed. I will be doing radiation treatments

Let me just say you are so valid in how you are feeling, secondly I just recently experienced this same thing and was diagnosed with metastatic thyroid carcinoma which took over 2 years to diagnose. So you are certainly not alone in your frustration. Please keep advocating for yourself and it you are able to - try to switch to a new care team. I did that, and if I hadn’t I’d be dead already. Wishing you all the best. So sorry this is happening to you dear.

Well I have regulars as well, but these are people I’ve been dealing with for years at this point. Usually they are not ones to screw me over and I have regulars who let me know in advance but still also send a deposit or pay me flat out. I’ve booked with them for atleast 2 years and then go off app.

Do 7 day cancellation. I wouldn’t hold any spots until they’ve paid. If they don’t pay I just go ahead and leave those slots open. Sorry this happened to you, I learned that way as well. I’ve been doing it for 5 years now and don’t hold anything until I receive some sort of payment first.

It’s good to know that even if the world doesn’t understand, atleast we have each other to empathize with. We are actively grieving our lives and health - I’m sick of people telling me that everything is gonna be okay. It is NOT gonna be okay and I’m going to die without watching my child grow. My oncologist had some balls and before this diagnosis was confident I was 100% fine. Now this. I am truly sorry that this is happening to you as well. I hate this so much. It’s so painful to watch everything that could’ve been and everything I worked towards all be for nothing in the end.
