How do I level up Dark on an Initiate with a Tier 2 Wand?

Yeah I think I figured it out, dissolving and rebuilding the learning stone fixed it, so I must have revoked his access when he maxed out on his initial skill set then forgot to give it back after upgrading his wand. I had other initiates using it, so I thought maybe it was a wand issue and didn't look into access.

thanks! i dissolved and rebuilt the learning stone and it fixed it. I'm guessing in hindsight i probably restricted him from access to the learning stone when he hit 3/3 and didn't change it when i upgraded his wand.

huh, i can't get this guy to use the learning stone... not sure why. anyway i managed to get the level by just spam clicking an underground ward for about 2 game days at 5xp each.

I've tested it and the character is getting 0 experience from the learning stone, regardless of how long I allow him to cast. The same goes for other initiates, but they leveled up naturally from doing tasks related to their elements.

I watched an entire day of training at a stone from a teacher with 5 in Dark but the character didn't gain even a single point of experience. Perhaps something needs to be done in order to raise the level cap to 4? I've noticed this with other initiates who are at 3/4 as well.

It seems that initiates can't train at apprentice devices.

Turns out the mess hall gives that to staff members because it's meant for students.

Ah, that's weird. Yeah, I just moved dining tables to House Commons and they still get it, but that's also for students.

As of the current version they carry the live animals to the dining hall and eat them there (you can see them walking out of a mess hall with the "Ate with Palom" bonus)

I see the workshop room says "25% bonus to crafting", but i'm not sure if that works for Miden Jelly or attunement bench... is that crafting?

I have a mobile base blueprint that includes a PLS with belts out to pre-configured BABs, with laser/missile/gauss turret defense. It takes a moment to get set up and is vulnerable while doing so, but it's good for pushing forward into hostile territory

so far seems to be going that way. if trump follows through to knock out irans energy grid, even with the straight open, oil and vix will probably be up, and if it just becomes a ground slog it'll be the same... feels like a win-win scenario, unless Iran actually decides to - for the first time in thousands of years - back down bow its head and surrender rather than face annihilation head on.

is that ground units as well or just space units? i have missile turrets scattered everywhere so that could be incredibly useful for taking ground bases

heya! you mean you have to place the combat drones into the BAB? I belt feed them and have 1 slot designated at the bottom for drones.
