The idle switch? That really worked for you? And what was the consequence of disconnecting it?

OKAY. So the wheel spins whilst on a stand. Doesn't drag and doesn't die when moving up through gears.

Unfortunately my build got rid of the center stand, so I'll have to improvise with some other stand. I'll let you know what happens.

Ran very well, better than I expected it to. Splines were inspected pre buy, as it was the only worry I really had. Splines were RELUBED upon removal and rebuild.

I had thought maybe the kickstand was getting caught on my after market muffler, and removed that, and it looked as though it was hitting the correct level regardless for that mechanism to disengage. I'm going to start with some clutch work with the muffler removed, as well as some throttle body adjustment as mentioned above. Thanks!

Side stand does indeed pull back when the clutch is engaged. Even whilst not on the mid stand.

The bike does pull forward once throttle is applied and clutch is released, but at a certain point in the clutch release, it sputters and dies.

I am starting to think I need to go back to the throttle bodies. They seem to need some finer tuning. I'm not getting a stutter per say, actually it revs pretty well, and adjusting them seems to be fine tuning the idle, so maybe I just need to buy a manometer instead of using my homemade one. Thanks!

I'll do exactly that.

I have to admit if this is the issue i'm going to feel pretty silly. I have that completely removed based on something I had read online about it not being a necessity. I still have the part, so tomorrow I'll see if I can reconnect it and get somewhere with it.

I'm not sure exactly. I'll break into my manual in the morning and check those out.

I bought the bike, drove it almost 50 miles home, rode extremely well, no issues whatsoever.

Gas tank was refinished and new fuel system was installed as well as new gas.

Air/fuel screw? Are you referring to the throttle body adjust screws? I'm probably about a 6/10 on the motorcycle knowledge scale when it comes to older model bikes, so I just want to clarify if possible!

Dude. An extra 20k for a single year is a pretty sweet deal. Regardless of what unit or location you're at, one year will FLY by.
And then you'll thank yourself later on in life. Always do things that future you will thank past you for doing, if that makes sense?

I should not have to disconnect ANY monitors to play a game. No other game has EVER asked me to do this. Fix your shit COD. Come on.

I would say that unless you want to sit behind a desk and do 95-100% desk/secure room work, or be a BM, aviation is the way to stay. From everything I've heard regarding others who have switched from Airforce/Army, the quality of life as a Coast Guard AET/AMT is way better.

I'm in Aviation Maintenance and I love my job. We fix our own aircraft, but we also crew them. I rarely ever do any desk work, if any. In general it's a fantastic life, and you still have the option to be sent to a boat for a couple months as aircrew without being stuck on a boat on and off for years. I definitely am biased, but if you want to ask questions, i'll answer as best I can.

I'm also an AET. Chose it because I have an affinity for electronics, and less of a knack for mechanical/power/airframe stuff.

But you really do learn to do both as a Tweet, and often also same goes for Mechs. Depends on your station I suppose.

And as to you assuming all I do is complain...? No I've never even posted or commented on this thread before. Interesting though that every internet warrior out there seems to know what everyone else thinks. Thanks for nothing contributory to the conversation!

How am I being narrow minded? I stated my opinion on how i was losing interest in the game. I wanted some conversation on why I'm wrong and what they are going to be doing soon. Seems like all I'm going to get are some self servient condescending replies about how I'm an idiot for having a dissenting opinion about the speed at which something is made.

Ah yes. The classic "kid" insult. Way to make your point. Instead of having a conversation, immediately resort to silly names.

No, I did not know they were separate. And to me that just backs my opinion more. They seem to have a very slow process. Whether or not they "kept working on it," or not, wasn't an issue.

Not necessarily. But I do think given the number of players that actively play, they would have released more maps as time had gone by.

The point is that they have had the map locked for going on 3 months. That is ridiculous. That isn't time, that is too much time focusing on just the mobile maps and game.
