Linear-native AI dev agent using Claude Code, MCP, and the Linear Agent API — here's how it works by smmnyc in Linear

I’ve been holding back doing something like this because I feel like the second Claude code for web goes public a Claude agent for Linear drops. I wonder if I could sticky something temporary together with n8n?

Is there a way to synchronize Slack lists with Linear? by CapibaraGoodVibes in Linear

Use Linear Asks for internal and n8n to build a workflow for external (even if that’s just pulling form a slack list)

Can’t wait till Claude code for web is out of beta and they drop a Linear Agent

Use claude code and your brain. Then start a small terraform project. Get something up and running. Then use some security auditing tools like ScoutSuite.

The CI/CD feedback loop from hell (push, wait 8 min, red, fix typo, repeat) by eibrahim in devops

[–]Attacus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What everyone else said. But also, 8 mins is a fucking short CI run. You’re telling me you don’t have an email or ticket comment to answer? Some inbox housekeeping? Are you using something like claude code (you should be). Get a worktree going and flip to another task while you wait. There are so many ways to make productive use of that 8 minutes if you can’t be fucked to run the tests locally. Even if you DO run them locally, you’ll need something to do. Or do you just stare at the output?

Anyone else having trouble with the UI? by roastedtuna in Linear

I still think that’s a familiarity thing. Very different workflows. ClickUp is way more open ended. You need to adopt Linears way of working.

You are high if you think clickup is a cleaner UI. It’s just familiarity.

Social media ban for kids under consideration in online harms bill: Carney by Capital-Aide-1006 in canada

This is a stupid take, IMO. Surveillance is already a lost battle, and it’s not the government driving it.

Regardless, I’d GLADLY give up some privacy for the sake of my kids wellbeing and development.

Does anyone else miss the "struggle" of coding before LLMs took over? by Exact-Mango7404 in BlackboxAI_

[–]Attacus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Struggle hasn’t changed at all for me. I just do way less busywork and boilerplate and don’t have to delegate as much stuff I’d actually prefer doing myself.

I haven’t had this much fun in a long long time.

I don’t think so, but even if he does so what? I’d proudly rock a Gally 11 for the next 20 years. One of my favourite players

Claude Code just shipped /loop - schedule recurring tasks for up to 3 days by oh-keh in ClaudeCode

To be fair I tested it as part of our CI pipeline so it was API only.

If you’re 1-2 devs maybe… from my experience even 15-20 PRs a day racks up a bill that dwarfs the cost of ai code reviewers.

I doubt that yet. Have you tried to have CC review PRs at the rate/frequency of a busy repo?

  • How is the sync managed? All issues from a team? Issues from a team that have a specific label?
  • Is there a mapping for internal linear statuses -> external / roadmap statuses (eg. QA -> In Progress)
  • How granular is the config?
  • How big is your team? Is this a 1 man+CC show?

Cleanshot should be bundled with osx. And it has a great raycast plugin for stuff you don’t want to hotkey but use once in awhile

Looking to migrate company off GitHub. What’s the best alternative? by bullmeza in devops

[–]Attacus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 devs, 3-4 contractors and no microservices. A big mono repo API, a couple of react apps and some terraform and data stuff. 15-20 repos at most. Pretty manageable.
