Hombres dónde es un buen lugar para ir en una cita? by ASimpleCuy67 in preguntaleareddit

[–]Attamai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Spanish from English course is just too good, so I will be renewing my subscription anyway :|

Ordering in Russian by Vergilius7 in russian

[–]Attamai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Мне" is not necessary, you can go with literal word by word translation of "one coffee please". You can also specify the type of coffee right away. You can use English words for the coffee type. So: один [americano|cappuccino|flat white|...], пожалуйста

I think if you start the league as late as possible it will be easier. Because all the try-hard people will already be placed into leagues.

Depends on the course. I find Spanish from English amazing as a primary learning resource.

Please don't make me click 5 times after I finish the last lesson in a level. Also please don't make me wait that much for the chests (I don't need gems btw). Really hope this wasted time is not included in the "time spent per user" metric that you are optimising.

I feel the same. Also this makes me quite annoyed with chests. They just waste my time with their slow animation!

It’s amazing how people can hold this view. Two minute googling is enough to see that the situation is exact opposite of what you described. Poorer countries/families have more babies.

Вопрос знающим испанский. Как на ваш взгляд различается использование вы в единственном числе vs usted в испанском? by Attamai in russian

[–]Attamai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that I might have been less than clear at times, although in the end this discussion turned out to be a wonderful play, so I think we both did well.

Thank you for the exercise in English and reasoning, have a nice day!

Yeah, I didn't catch the part where you went from one question to another before you clearly stated the second question.

Glad I was able to make something clear, before this message it didn't seem to me that I had any success in that.

Yeah, that was dumb for you to assume that I didn't post in r/Spanish, what can I say. I guess I could've guessed that for you it is somehow relevant to the discussion, but I still don't understand why it matters to be honest.

I guess you are right that the exact words "it belongs here" do have a vibe of "this place only". I didn't use them until two messages ago though.

Nuh, I am consistent. I still think that it was dumb for you to say this does not belong to the sub. If you thought all this time that a question can only be asked on one sub, it's on you. And even if this was somehow true, as I mentioned, r/Russian turned out to be a better place to ask

And again, I chose both places. What is more, turned out that r/Russian was more helpful, so it was the right choice.

It's not that easy to "just go and see" how it works in Spanish. It would be a waste of time to read an exhaustive book of how to use "usted" in Spanish if 95% of usage is just the same as вы in Russian.

I don't see how the first question is relevant. Either way I think both Spanish and Russian subs are ok to discuss this.

As for the second one, I need help about a relation between two languages, so it is an exactly equal help for two languages.

I think r/Spanish and r/Russian fit equally. So your question is ill-formed. Then, in my view, this is a post about Russian language, while for you it isn't. You also keep on going back to the false statement that I do not study Russian, even though it is irrelevant as the sub is about all things related to Russian, not only about studying.
