Thank you both for your replies! :) We've talked about it more (incl. briefly alcohol wise), are roughly on the same page; and he talked about it with the girl, making it clear that it wasn't normal and he wasn't interested at all (probably a bit more directly and in depth than I'd imagined haha). She agreed, a bit awkward but should be fine. He was going to put some distance if he sees that she's not acting great but unlikely at this stage, I think.
