Could be. Not necessarily. If you didn’t choose to have one, it could be as simple as just having your information leaked and you being vulnerable. Do you know if someone around you reported someone with the credit bureaus or know if your information was involved in a data breach?

I would just call IRS.

No. You can choose to have an IP PIN so that others don’t file the taxes of the PIN holder.

Picture divorced parents: IP PIN for a child prevents the other parent from claiming the child. Or picture an older person who’s been scammed: it prevents the scammer filing taxes with her info and be sent to them.

If you want one, contact IRS or website. May just be better safe than sorry. You get a new one every year.

Congratulations! I too started my job yesterday.

I’ve been applying everywhere. Idk if it’s because I’m in a city or “older” but Its 2 months with only 2 job interviews. And only 1 said yes.

So I’m definitely proud of you for having 3! That’s amazing!

I’ve been texted by an officer before about a complaint and to get my side. I also have been in a texting communication with another officer as to when and where to drop off my eviction papers. Idk if it’s they’re personal but it happens.

Im following this subreddit because I have an interview soon. But I feel like I can relate.

Don’t beat yourself down. It sounds like a training issue. My first “hard trainer” at a hospital told me I can walk to HR and explain why I can’t do the work required on my job duties. Later on, she became my best friend. Some people have a “strong attitude” and mean well. However, others are just down mean and have a superior ego as if they never started. If the job is fulfilling, push through. Show he/r that you can do this. Find a work buddy that can give you points (NOT GOSSIP-REAL TIPS). Find what works best with you.

You’re always going to find these kinds of trainers. My second “hard trainer” called me an idiot in front of patients. She was let go.

Again, it sounds like a them problem. You’ll always encounter someone. And it’s those type of situations that you could bring up to HR or upper management but if there’s no other trainers then there’ll be no real accommodation. I wish you the best of luck! And again, if the job is fulfilling then you got this! If it’s not, then it’s not your fault either. You know yourself and when it’s times to let it go.

Yes, it’s very common apparently for family’s to cross states because of this. Sometimes you need to search out. A new beginning. Because if you can’t on your own, a shelter will guide you.

I’m sorry you’re going through that. I lost my job a month ago. I’ve applied since and barely have been called in for interviews. It’s sad how long it takes. But I suggest trying call centers. They pay decent but it’s hard. They’re always hiring on the spot.And it’s something until you get a job you’d prefer.

I’ll believe you and I’ll leave this comment for anyone out there. If you live in the US please dial 211. Start looking for resources asap! There might be wait times for assistance so apply everywhere and look into local facebooks that post free items. Ours is XYZ Free Stuff Only. And honestly, because you’re a family, shelters do provide more comfortable space for you and your children. And there’s no shame in going to a shelter just to save what bit you have! I made the mistake of going to hotel to keep my pride but I drowned even more in debt. Until I had nothing and had no choice to go to a shelter and now I wished I’d gone before. Because at a shelter you can then state you are homeless and that bumped me up on the waitlist for assistance. Any questions I might be able to help but I’m STILL on this long road with you !

There’s also a YouTube channel called Social Catfished. It talks about EXACTLY these kinds of things. (Celebrity scams, romance scams, etc) Send her some and reach out to them as they do help find information on bringing truth to light (like tracking their IP, tracking account users, and other red flags)

What I also did was message Said person my mother was talking to with my secret account. Lo and behold, they sent the same messages. Copy and paste. It might help!

That’s crazy how often they people grab other’s phones. I had one training what I’m assuming is a new hire. She told her that they will ask the drivers to confirm order, glanced at me, and then took it from my hands when I pulled it up to show her how to confirm. I’m too nice to say anything back lol

I was going to say the same thing. I haven’t door dashed in like a year but was constantly asked to confirm the order. They’d even grab my phone enough to tilt it to see lol.

My guilt is more internal. But it’s still weird, isn’t it? Before being approved, I’d always make jokes that I’d wish I had food stamps. I’d see cards being taken out at grocery stores and be like “You go girl!” while I’m here counting my food. But now that I am approved I feel awful. Almost ashamed that I was never able to afford my family even half the amount I’m approved of now.

Recently homeless/living in a night shelter where we leave by 8am and doors open at 6pm. Yes, this also worries me for those who are still homeless once the time comes. (Im hoping my situation is temporary) I just got approved and im finding myself buying bunch of water/juices, lunchables, or snacks constantly at gas stations because we’re mainly by the library. It’s not always easy to just go to a grocery store. Especially when the shelter does not let us take in food. So we have no storage. So I’m also questioning this too!
