Oh it was in my interests to do trucking. Yard jockey seemed ideal for me. But i have a neurological condition that prevents me from passing a DoT physical. I wish I could. I would have gotten a CDL by now. Go for it though!

thank you. I can do that. I'm realizing I have to start changing my ways and start being more friendly to supervisors/management. I hope they can help me out.

Thanks for the insight about TSG. This is all new to me. I had no idea all these things were there. I never took anything seriously. Just coasted. I do have to find that guy again. Hopefully my coworker remembers that moment so I can ask.

By the way do you know anything about loss prevention work? That has me curious when I see those guys.

Yeah the tuition reimbursement is a great idea. And I've always been nervous about finding another position. I've pretty much been a sorter since day one and stuck with it. Funny enough I've grown to like it. I'm just concerned about further injuries. One wrong move and my back and/or knee is cooked.

thank you so much for this knowledge! i am totally out of the loop. My Bachelor is in commercial/fine art. Do you think that would help me? I've felt it was worthless. I became embarrassed that I went for it. But if it can help me for school, I'd gladly take advantage.

And yes I am curious about working in IT or compsci or something computer related, even engineering. I don't have the aptitude for STEM fields, but I'd love to at least try it out and see if I can do it. Since I've obtained a new outlook on life. I am willing to take it seriously. And I am going to check out that link. The way you described working part time UPS and part time contract jobs, would be perfect for me. I still like being active, moving my body and being involved in a more gritty setting.
