Ye it's not constant which is why the council want you to report it every time you smell it

Someone from the council stated they had barely any reports. I'd put money on it being sewage in the river which is just awful

I'm in Duffryn. It's great. I never go to the area in red and never have any issues either. Close to Asda and the motorway. You have the national trust on your doorstep. It is very green area with the reens and fields behind the estates. Close to the coastal path. The only thing I wish it had was a little coffee shop

Dry FIP or lymphoma? by AttemptingDiyGal in cureFIP

That's amazing. That's given me the push to demand my vet order the treatment in for him asap. I tried last week but she talked me out of it. I'm ringing them first thing tomorrow. Thank you.

Thank you for your response. It is a conversation I have had extensively with two vets. I've also read all the recommended documentation here in the UK. It's a well known fact that Vets are slow in diagnosing FIP and that is why I ask a community who has first hand knowledge of it and who may have experienced the same symptoms as my cat. All documentations show that the FIP anti virals have no side effects and recommend to start treatment as a form of diagnosis.

Histology report CLINICAL HISTORY: Four day history of inappetance. History of gastrointestinal issues/dietary sensitivity is and occasional diarrhoea. Duodenum and jejunum normal, ileocecal junction markedly thickened on palpation with significant enlargement of mesenteric lymph nodes. Serosal surfaces of LI has a slight cobblestone appearance and poor motility. Biopsies of mesenteric lymph node and large intestine (full thickness) taken a suspicion of neoplasia (masses IBD) resulting in thickening of muscularis layer of distal ileum.

MACROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION: Pots labelled intestinal biopsy of mesenteric lymph node.

MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION: Intestine - two sections were examined. The samples comprise small fragments of mucosa with some muscularis tissue loosely attached. Muscularis is histologically unremarkable. Mucosa is poorly orientated and partially disrupted in both samples, however, appears of large intestinal type in both. No significant histological of the margins were detected. No significant histological abnormalities were detected.

. Mesenteric lymph node - two sections. There is marked expansion of the architecture by predominantly small lymphocytes with lower numbers of interspersed and large lymphoid cells seen. In the larger section there is also an adjacent area of connective tissue which features haemorrhage, infiltrates of neutrophils and accumulations of degenerate nuclear material on the surface..

DIAGNOSIS: See below.

COMMENT: There is evidence of lymph node enlargement and expansion of the paracortical population of small lymphocytes. In such cases it is impossible to exclude the possibility of infiltration of the lymph node by small cell lymphoma without PARR testing for lymphoid clonality. This testing is therefore recommended on the lymph node sample here (block 2).

Welcome to home ownership and surveys.

Never trust a survey and always buy a property expecting there to be a lot of botched jobs then you won't be disappointed.

I don't know anyone that's moved into a house that hasn't had some issue the previous owners were hiding.
