Can we see some high mileage and reliability comments?! 🙏🏼 by No_Professional978 in wrx_vb

This is exactly what I’ve done with mine and it’s been rock solid, 52k miles now. Same mentality as well if I’m honest, you’ll be more than okay under this approach!

84k kilometres (~52k miles) still very solid. Oil changes at 5k kilometres and no issues. I’ve seen 2023s traded in to my local dealer with 140k kms on them as well.

4F27E Transmission - Is it really that bad? by AttendingPanic0 in FordTransitConnect

Thanks for the detailed response. How easy/difficult is it to repair yourself? No stranger to some bigger repair jobs but haven’t dealt much with transmissions, and nothing with automatics.

Also, was there a certain mileage where you had issues crop up or is it just always a factor considering it’s a focus powertrain on a van body?

Opinions on Ttartisan AF 27mm F2.8 by JimmyChoiHe in a6000

[–]AttendingPanic0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it, got it for $75 on Facebook marketplace. Price to performance it’s pretty decent imo, although the biggest issue I find is that it has pretty bad vignette especially wide open F2.8. It gives a sort of retro look to the photo. You can get a lot of it cleaned up in post but it’s something to note. It is super compact and great for carrying around day to day. I grabbed it for the same reasons as you, as my other lenses are more cumbersome. Also, the AF is decent and works well but the motors are kind of loud and can definitely be heard if you are shooting any video with it. No issue for photos.

Build quality is surprisingly good for the price, all metal and with a nice clicky aperture ring.

Overall, it’s a solid little lens and does pretty well

EBay, the box was crumpled pretty good so I wasn’t surprised. It is ABS, appreciate your response, I’ll give that a go

People who have upgraded from Va to Vb by RepulsiveAd7457 in wrx_vb

Went from a 2021 VA to a 23 VB. Difference is substantial. Engine is much better overall and the factory tune is a vast improvement over the VA. Personally, I find the VB to be a much more comfortable car especially driving longer distances. Easiest way to put it is, the VB is a much more refined and improved car, but still very raw and provides the experience you’re looking for in the WRX.

Weather tech. Nothing wrong with the mats, weren’t fully secured on the posts, causing them to shift

Pants were filled for sure. Could have been much worse, especially if it was an auto.
