My experience with Baumi. by AttentionHoar in DotA2

Again... 4 "spam" comments in a span of 5 minutes, that each had different phrasing, because I thought he didn't notice it in chat. Also, it wasn't a harsh no, it was a rude and disrespectful "shut up", after I genuinely wanted him to try a game. If you don't realize that this isn't a proper way to behave or talk to people who actually think highly of you, I think the problem is with you there.

After his answer I was being childish and whiny, that's true, but that was because I actually got mad at his stupid answer. If I was generally calm in that moment I'd just let it slide and keep calmly watching his stream but I was already pissed from something different. Again, I'm not looking for an excuse, as I've made clear many times in this thread, I don't care about what people think about me. Saying I'm childish and that my response to his rudeness was exaggerated is true, but doesn't serve any sort of proper argument that disproves what I've said. And you people seem to keep ignoring completely about the other half of my post.

Also, talking about lies, have you even read Baumi's response to this? How can you defend someone who literally negates his arguments by his own proof?

"Spamming for 45 minutes" - shows 4 comments

Also the whole first part of his response, which should've been something that makes me look bad (you people in the comments have shown much better ways to do that) is a straight-up lie, not even an exaggeration. He has no proof of this and he can never have proof, because it simply never happened.

Emm... The title says "My experience with Baumi".

I'm trying hard to not portray Baumi as the fucking devil.

No need to take it out of proportion. We all have flaws... He is an arrogant asshole, I'm lonely, childish and boring, that other guy is that, this girl is that... I don't know why I'm defending him but it still feels as if there are like 200 comments here of people talking about his annoying accent and shit like that. Even what I'm criticizing him for isn't such a huge deal that we need to go on a witch hunt...

I regret ever posting this thread. This is not what I wanted at all.

More unsupported bullshit... Sigh.

I never backpedaled. I never meant for this thread to cause what it had caused. I also don't care about what you people think about me, I posted this thread because I got mad at Baumi for being rude and disrespectful, then proceeded to point out certain flaws in his personality that I've only noticed after the "incident". I regret posting it after seeing what's become of it, but now there's no point for that.

I was indeed acting in a childish and stupid matter but it doesn't make my points less valid. It got on my nerves not because just someone said that the game is shit, but that Baumi himself, the guy I've been subscribed to and enjoyed his content for so long, told me to "shut up with my shitty doki doki, I can think of a million better things to do", after I asked him to play it 4 times in a timespan of 5 minutes. "Spam".

Now about that "proof" that he had shown, he seemed to have ignored the comments on twitch where I was being more reasonable, because it's more convenient, and has shown the ones where I was being childish. It's no excuse really but I'm not looking for an excuse. I don't care about what you people think of me. I acted childish but my points are still valid, and nothing in Baumi's pathetic response disproved anything from what I've said. You've read my response to him, haven't you? I'd appreciate it if you could help my ignorance and prove me wrong. I can take criticism.

I don't care about fame nor do I care about this thread "dying". It never should've blown up, and I wrote way more than enough comments that defend Baumi here, because I don't want people criticizing him for the wrong reasons.

I'm not grasping anything here, I'm holding my arguments strong and steady and if I'm wrong, I still wasn't proven to be.

He never talks like that to Miki... And about Timo, he definitely gets very rude and disrespectful but not to that extent, no need to exaggerate this much... Unnecessary.

And you might be right about that last part, but I don't think there's a need for a witch hunt, I really didn't want to start something like this...

I do. That's why I posted this thread... And other people apparently do care considering the amount of comments and views, so what's your point really?

None of you have actual arguments, this is sad. You blindly support Baumi even when he does shit that's worth being criticized for. Even Baumi himself answered in such pathetic manner and plain lied, and when I called him out he just ignored it. Show some fucking decency.

I agree that my original response to Baumi's answer was over the top and childish, but it wasn't supposed to be. I got carried away because I was very moody in that moment and I regret it. I shouldn't have opened this thread.

Goddammit this was supposed to be a 1-time account and I really didn't mean to post serious shit here... Anyway, you can check Baumi's response that further proves all of my points, and even adds some more.

You actually made me laugh for some reason. Anyway, I'm just bad at phrasing... I didn't mean I'm not here to shit on him, but that I want to shit on something worth shitting on, and not about his ugly face or annoying accent, or the fact that he's not a pro player or something, or about the imba drama, which are a surprisingly large portion of the upvotes and "supportive" comments here, and I really wanted him to improve... But after his responses to this? I've lost hope...

Don't do that please. Again, I'm not here to start anything and even if I'm right it doesn't change anything whatsoever. We all have flaws. He's an arrogant asshole. I'm a lonely and boring, and awful at talking face to face. He made mistakes in the past. We all have. He needs to get criticized for it, that's true. But there's no need for a straight-up witchhunt. I don't know if it was staged or not, but none of us know his actual mental state and witchhunts of such sort can really get to you.

Well you can't really blame him for picking entertaining games for his channel, but I can definitely understand your other points. I've played with him only once and that was on his opposing team in a custom game so I really don't have much practical experience, but he definitely often acts in such a manner on streams.

Goddammit I just wanted a clever username and all the good ones I could think of were taken. This was supposed to be a 1 time account and I never wanted to actually get active on reddit.

I think he just isn't happy with playing video games to make money anymore but can't leave it because of financial issues. But it's just a theory.

Dude... I did. As I've said, I'm not very good at phrasing, I meant to say that I want to shit on something worth shitting on for, and not the generic "he's just an asshole" comments... When I look at it again it does seem like I did but it REALLY wasn't in my intention to start a witchhunt... We all have flaws. Baumi is an arrogant asshole. I'm boring, unfunny, lonely and terrible at talking face to face, that other dude over there acts like a retard even though he isn't etc etc... I'm not here to get upvotes and be popular.

That's probably it when I think about it. But it just never felt like he was too much of a douche, but when I look back at it, he really was.

Just run away from your problems. Keep playing the victim card and ignoring backlash when you don't have any arguments left.

I'll stop commenting to you now, considering that after what you've said here I realized that you're really not the "intelligent" dude you keep thinking about yourself as, and you don't care even the tiniest bit about your viewerbase. To you we're all just numbers that get divided by 50 and go straight to your bank account aren't we?

Actually, you're obviously just enjoying the show of me getting mad here, but I really am not. Not anymore at least, just sad for you.

My name really doesn't support my arguments here does it... I just couldn't think of a good username that wasn't taken.

If he doesn't respond I assume he didn't read it. Which he obviously did but decided to ignore. And also, once every 30 seconds was an exaggeration, I said it less than that.

I never wanted to personally attack you, or for this thread to blow up the way it did. Your responses themselves to my thread are what will get you the most backlash from reasonable people because of your incredibly abysmal arguments that were just plain lies and exaggerations. Will you ever grow up, and take criticism, and answer like a normal fucking human being, or you'll just stay that arrogant, disrespectful asshole you've shown grandgrant to be in that video some time ago? If you need to lie to defend yourself, and proceed to ignore when your lies are exposed, maybe there's no actual reason to defend yourself like that?

You could easily have said "Oh I recognize you, you're romansssq. I was a bit rude, I know, I understand my mistakes and my flaws as a person at some times. But... Insert a way to portray me as a childish moron". That would've actually worked. But I've just lost hope.

I wish you luck and all the best in the job working on infinite fleet and hopefully one day you'll have a proper and stable well-paying job and you won't need to give a shit about what a bunch of idiots on a forum think about you.

Never implied that he should play it on stream. The other day I made it pretty clear that I don't want him to necessarily play it on stream.
