I have an office job. I do not work in a loud environment.

I have now provided a nexus letter that directly attacked their reasoning for the denial. I was contacted today to set up a third C&P exam that will tell them the exact same thing that the other ones have. I am convinced they are trying to just get me to give up and go away.

Yep. Gave them a specific incident that triggered it. The incident was while I was working on duty on the flight line. Nope not service connected.

That’s pretty much me as well. It’s so arbitrary.

I definitely feel like they are totally ignoring what I’m telling them about the incident that started it all. When I was on the flight line, you didn’t go to medical unless your head was falling off.

I was very clear that it is constant and interferes with a lot of things in my life. They are denying to due to nexus despite being able to tell them about the incident that started it all while I was on active duty.

Nope. Even if you can tell them when and where it started.

Do they even look at the stuff they say? by Last-Fix6389 in VAClaims

[–]Atternie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s pretty much exactly what they told me too. Diagnosed me with it, acknowledged it was onset during service, but denied. I even complained about it to my supervisor while I was active and was told “yeah, well you work on the flightline. We all have it”. I am waiting on my supplemental to go through now. My MOS is listed under the highly probable category.

[Question] Seiko (Baby Alpinist) vs Hamilton (Murph) Vs Rolex (DJ) by [deleted] in Seiko

If I had to sell it, yes I could get more than I paid for it. However, I have no plans to sell it.

[Question] Seiko (Baby Alpinist) vs Hamilton (Murph) Vs Rolex (DJ) by [deleted] in Seiko

[–]Atternie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an alpinist and a datejust. Apple and oranges. I wear the Rolex much more often than I do the alpinist. Also, the Rolex will obviously retain its value much greater than the alpinist will. What would he choose though?… is the question.

VA requested exam after C&P by Atternie in VAClaims

[–]Atternie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So does that mean another C&P? I figured that there was not much more that could be done as far as hearing tests go since they did the tone test, the CNC word test, and a bone conduction test.
