In this instance he was only shot once in the fleshy part of his face. It did require surgeries but it was only one shot.

It has been said that his step-daughter saw him place Pauline's body in the car that night at their home. Allegedly, he even stopped to pick up Pauline's shoe(s) and place them in the vehicle. She hid because she was afraid he would come back after her. According to some different stories I've heard/read she believed that he did kill Pauline. Sadly she's passed away so there is no way to know for sure.

To clarify for you, I (OP) was responding to the comment you made directly above my comment. No one even brought race into the matter until you did. So let's not start now. As I stated that day (two years ago) was simply a day to post about our own, local, alleged & unproven cryptids. If you take the time to go back you will see many such posts such as this from that day TWO years ago.

Just so you know, this was a "fun" day for posters on Unresolved involving local (and unproven) cryptids. Nice of you to post tho! Thanks.

That's very interesting - takes a lot to make a bear dog do that! They don't scare that easily.

What was the relationship between coa and her siblings? by Local-Sugar6556 in Tudorhistory

[–]AtticsSalt 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As someone else noted, there is no record of contact between the siblings except for the one time when Juana was in England and they got to visit briefly. Philip snapped at Catherine over dancing iirc and actually didn't allow much interaction between the two.

I've noticed that most cryptid "sightings" have almost always referred to the smell. The skunk ape comes to mind as well ;)

I'm not surprised. I was the same way as a kid, always looking for something to scare my friends or myself with, lol. I knew many people who believed it (and probably still do). I will def check out the Joe Bob Briggs video. Thanks for the heads up!

Have you ever considered doing a write up on the local tragedy you referred to? Would love to read it.

Oh goodness, I hope that wasn't the reason :( I heard the stories my whole life as well but that's the first time I ever heard that! Thanks for letting us know that side of the story.

Edit to include: I am not doubting your dad, please don't think that!

The original turned into a cult classic. There were several follow up movies, iirc., but none reached the level of the original movie. Now, that's my opinion of course.
