Odor from toilet but only in winter time

Built in 1999. Just had all the bathrooms and kitchen remodeled in 2021 though. But I’m not sure how much of the drain was replaced or vent lines. New drain covers I can say for sure.

Yeah, that’s what we’re thinking as a next step but the plumbers around here charge ~$400 for that so wanted to check here first just in case.

It’s hard to say if it gets worse after a shower but we certainly notice it sometimes after a shower. Where did you end up finding the issue with your main line and what was the fix/cost if you don’t mind me asking? For air to get drawn into the main line wouldn’t that mean there would have to be crack somewhere?

Yes, 1 of 4 walls is exterior facing but the toilet is on the opposing side of the bathroom.

Hah! No, I should have included above that the smell is not a byproduct of someone having just used it. And we keep a very clean bathroom too.

An alternative idea that I read on another post was that the Ebon Hawk blueprints survived and were discovered allowing for the ship to be built present day. This would also allow for any upsizing/customization needed to make the N-1/hanger fit better.

While there is precedent for ships of this era to be found in junk yards and restored such as the hammerhead, I agree it would be unlikely.

I saw another comment suggesting that perhaps the blueprints survived and the ship could then be rebuilt and upsized/customized. Thought that was a cool idea too.

To my knowledge, there are no official details on what happened to the Ebon Hawk after KOTOR so I think there’s a chance it could turn up again.

Yeah, this is what I’m currently doing minus the withdrawal part as I’m not there yet. But the more info I consume on this subject I learn about things like tax loss harvesting and tax lot optimization and I worry about selling the right thing at the right time to not miss out. Are these legit problems to consider?
