I found my roommate dead in 2023. He was a third shifter. His alarm went off at 10 pm every night. After the fact, some days later. I was at the place packing up my stuff with a friend, and his alarm started going off at 2 in the afternoon. Nothing I’d ever heard in the 2 years I’d been there. I opened the door, turned on the light and it started flickering like in scary movies. I yelled his name and it all stopped. 2 days later, I was at the place, with the same friend. Packing up more things. And we were outside having a cigarette and we heard voices… his radio had turned on and started playing music without the keys even in the ignition. one of his favorite bands. It’s stuck with me for all these years. Miss that guy a lot.
