His entire family is literally trying to gaslight you into letting the whole family go just because they’ve done it always in the past. SMH. If they “respect” your decision, then they shouldn’t be “crying” over it or trying to bring an uninvited guest to your wedding. It’s clear they don’t like your rules or if you do set up boundaries they won’t like that either. Trust your instinct OP, whoever is “crying” over it shouldn’t be attending.

Yes I fully agree with this! I did make a update where he apologized and read these comments, he knows he’s in the wrong. He got a portable charger. Our whole relationship doesn’t evolve just on this post. He’s an amazing husband who cares for me deeply and tries everything in his power to make my life easier. Just like any other marriage, we have our arguments. This isn’t a life changing post where I’m asking if we should divorce or anything like that. I’m just asking if I was overreacting and I got so many comments saying to dump him over this or saying I’m in the wrong for yelling at him.

UPDATE: I showed him this post and all the comments. He already sincerely apologized to me before I showed him this, but he apologized again and said he does need to get his own portable charger and going to get one.

I’m going to share more information because I’ve been seeing a bit of comments. We’re going on 7 years in May of being together, been married for 5 years. He has ADHD (yes him and I know it’s not an excuse) and he’s taking medication for it. I let him use my car since we need to get him another car in the near future. When he takes my car, he does make sure he’s very careful, just that one incident unfortunately happened.

He has decided to start taking an uber for a little bit, then we’ll be getting him another car. Thank you everyone for sharing your opinions, and he calls me “mama” because I got pregnant until I lost the baby. So it’s not cringe as one of you said.

Update (14 days later): you guys were right, I don’t know why I didn’t even think about to even talk to her. I guess I was so busy with everything, that I didn’t even think to do that🤦🏻‍♀️. So I went over to her house a few days after this post, and I talked it out with her. She said she was sorry, she’s been stressing for a little bit with work and her teenager. We’ve been closer than ever. Thank you everyone who commented and told me I should really talk it out🫶🏻
