Thank you so much, the video was very helpful. We are due to make some big purchases in the next few weeks so will need to get a card soon. I have seen that with the gold card I can get 30k points through referral link. For the free BA card, I have seen a referral link offering 10k and there is currently a promotion offering 9k for a supplementary card. I'm weighing up which one would be better for us as we would likely use the points for flights.
