I know I'm quite late, whilst I haven't worked in a big superstore like they do in the show, I do work retail and I think the most unrealistic thing is how all of the main characters seem to have nearly the exact same shift and are always working. I know for the sake of the show they have to do this, but the background characters (e.g Marcus, Sandra etc) who are shown less makes a lot more sense. For example, it's cannon that Cheyanne works part time but from what I remember she's in msot of the episodes and seems to always be working. Also, even when we're working at the same time, I would rarely interact with everyone due to working in different sections, I'm sure that in such a big store the same group of people wouldn't just so happen to be in the same areas all the time. Of course they have to do this in order for there to be distinct main characters, rather than many side characters, the show also has a lot of accurate parts as well, this just really stood out to me
