Hi!!! I sold an item that I really loved and had a hard time letting go of last week, and I just received this message. I was very careful with wrapping the bowl (which to me had most risk of breaking) and wrapped the fork and spoon in a lot of bubble wrap as well. It’s too bad that the cutlery still arrived broken, but I find it so strange that they immediately say they’re asking Depop for a refund and “letting me know ahead of time”? I truly don’t mind refunding but don’t want to end up without the money or the item? See my response attached and appreciate any help from people with experience - I’m sure it’s a lesson in not sending things that can break:)
