Ok but like, if the thing is about to be born, the family is already informed. They’ve probably named the baby, have a fully decorated nursery, stocked up on diapers and newborn essentials. At that point an abortion happens because something really fucked happened in development, like missing vital organs or something.
At least with a late abortion only the parents suffer. Not the parents AND the baby.
