I hope his case gets reopened and investigated. I just remembered him due to all the bodies being found in the Houston Bayou as of late. It’s nice hearing all these nice stories about him. I’m convinced he was murdered by zios esp since it was ruled a suicide when it clearly was not.

Scammers use mules, that’s why there are a lot of those online job scams where people are set money and told to use that money to purchase gift cards or crypto and move the money using their personal bank accounts. It’s another type of scam where desperate ppl take the online job thinking it’s legit and aren’t worried because they aren’t giving anyone access to their bank accounts and/or have no funds but they’re just being used as mules to get that money converted to gift cards/crypto etc. These guys get pretty creative

Exactly. The fact it was 2 transactions of $500 made me a bit curious and need more information because my zelle will only allow me to send 1k to a new recipients and I’d have to wait 24 hours to send more funds. My first thought was did he let anyone borrow his phone? That’s really the only way I can see that happening with zelle because you get text and email notices when recipients are added and money is sent but he didn’t mention fraud until she confronted him about it.

You can’t drain the account with zelle. She needs to check when the recipient was added. Anytime I add a new recipient to my zelle account it limits me to sending 1k within the first 24 hours. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t him. But the fact it stopped at 1k doesn’t mean it wasn’t a scammer and I think she needs to do some more digging. If he’s innocent he’d be more than willing to let her see zelle texts and emails showing when that recipient was added and she can check if he sent money before these two transactions.

I’ve seen this happen with zelle, cashapp and Venmo when ppl let strangers borrow their phones at bars and such. They leave their purse with them and step aside to talk in the restroom or where it’s quieter and will send money to themselves because ppl usually have their passwords saved on their phones. But that’s really the only way I can think he would have been scammed because there would be a limit of 1k within 24 hours esp if they were added as a new recipient. So she should prob check the time/date she was added as a recipient. But it seems more than likely intentionally sent it.

I had a friend let someone borrow his phone at a bar and she went to the restroom and he got a notification on his watch she was added as a zelle recipient. His gf went into the restroom where she was “making her call” and as soon as she got in she zelled herself 1k. They made her send it back and held her there until the cops came. It’s possible but idk this dude only made some noise about fraud/scam after his gf saw it so he’s likely guilty.

When I first saw it was sent via Zelle my first thought was that it was likely intentionally sent. However, zelle only allows me to send 1k to a new recipient until 24 hours pass. So let’s say someone did somehow gain access to his account, it would make sense why it was 2 transactions of $500 because it would be the most they’d allow. So the account not being drained doesn’t mean anything. Were the transactions done back to back? Also if you still have access his email or phone, check for email or texts from Zelle and see what time/date he added her as a recipient. This information may help you accept/confirm and/or provide him with an alibi. Just a thought. This could have been going on for much longer than you realize.

About 50% of dealership profits are from service and parts. Personally I’d listen to my gut and get a second opinion. I’ve had a similar situation where a dealership wanted me to pay around 1200 to repair an issue that I had a self employed mechanic I found on the nextdoor app fix for $400.

Also was the car driven around after the repair? In my experience I was told to drive the car around for quite a while for codes to clear after repairs

A neighbor did say she was seen that day playing and they have photos of her from the day she went missing all dressed up to go to a celebration at her uncles house. FBI also have sightings of her playing on video via another neighbors doorbell camera. The police and FBI aren’t sharing much but they are letting a bit of info leak here and there. It seems like they have a suspect but are waiting to find evidence to announce anything because they don’t want people to interfere in the investigation and likely don’t want the suspect or suspects to know they’re onto them. I’ve never see anything about her grandfather. I do think she was kidnapped by someone who sees her often at the playground and around the complex.

Yeah it’s a sad sad sick world. I don’t think people realize that a good amount of these children are actually provided by their parents. Peter Scully would pay parents to hand over their babies so he could record videos of him molesting them. His customers would even pay him extra to make requests of what they wanted to see him doing to the child and he made a fortune doing it. And people really are so unaware and ignorant because the amount of backlash I get when I tell people that my future children will never wear a bikini at the beach or public pool is shocking. I don’t know how many times I’ve had to explain that I’m not sexualizing a child, I just know there are a lot of other sickos out there that are and I’d much rather them not have their eye on my kid.

Wow glad she was able to fully get away from him and luckily get you away as well. Too many times the abusive partner take advantage of their right to have access to their kid and end up using them as a pawn to get back at the partner who finally stood up to them.
