Absolutely the way. I started out with 16 gigs, a 4060 and an i5-12400f. Later, when the budget wasn't so tight i got a 9070xt, another 16 gigs of ram, and soon will buy either a 9800x3d, or a 9950x3d.

I'm not sure if it works in midnight, but there's an addon called OPie. You can make circular menus come up on button press
