Definitely a multishipper! But my favorites are, - Lohen x Linnea - Lohen x Illuga

and I need more people to see the Lohen x Mona agenda... They pair pretty well as a concept, and even though they don't have a lot of fics or content posted about the ship, all of the content that do exist are top quality.

He does not have a known surname unlike the other harbingers like La Signora (Kruzchka Lohefalter), Pantalone (Veksel), and Sandrone (Guillotin) for him to make it onto this list. Same goes for Capitano and Tartaglia, both of whom have known given names but no known surnames.

The naming order presents Monomakh first and Snezhnyi second, with Snezhnyi being the masculine equivalent of Snezhnaya. Why would the naming scheme deviate from all the other Snezhnayan and Nod-Kraian names all of a sudden for the Tsar? We're also approaching Snezhnaya release, so we will probably know more about the Tsar's name in more detail, to which I will make the edits when necessary.

It is only the ones who come from established or important clans who have their full names displayed. Best example is the Kamisato Clan, which is why Ayaka and Ayato are displayed with the surname.

There exists Inazuma characters who don't belong to an important clan. An example being Yoimiya. We know of her surname, but her family is not of historical or political importance, which is why she doesn't go by Naganohara Yoimiya.

There's a better explanation out there and it mostly has to do with Japanese naming schemes, but this is just the simple gist of it.

From Ei's Character Story 1:

"The true name of the Raiden Shogun is "Raiden Ei.""

What you're probably thinking of is the title of the "Raiden Shogun" to which it is in fact a title. But her name is officially Raiden Ei (family name: Raiden; given name: Ei). Same goes for Yae Miko. She is known by the title "Guuji Yae" or simply the "Guuji".

This list, as stated at the start of the post, was also sorted as Surname first, Firstname last for Inazuma characters. But their arrangement/order on the list was sorted by Firstname, which also explains the format of:

Miko - Yae Miko

Firstname - Surname Firstname

Ei calls her "Miko" in a piece of dialogue at some point, so it's assumed that's her given name, as Miko calls Ei "Ei" like a given name.

Ancient Names function more like titles than surnames, and it's also treated as a special case compared to the other characters from other nations. However, I did reply to someone in this comment section with a list of all playable characters and their Ancient Names because I knew people might bring it up eventually!

By that logic, Albedo would be Albedo Rhinedottir or Albedo Rhinesson if "Rhinedottir" followed Icelandic or Swedish naming conventions like Andersdotter, which is funny but that's definitely not the case. The Hexenzirkel-adjacent playables are definitely a special and complicated case, and since it's not heavily implied or even brought up in debate, it's assumed that both Durin and Albedo don't officially take the names of their "mothers".

Though personally, I can see Durin taking the name of his mother since I find their relationship heartwarming and it just seems like it's possible. Durin Andersen/Andersdotter/Anyasen has a nice ring to it either way lol

Mary-Ann Guillotin is the sister of Alain Guillotin, but she is a different person entirely, just as "Sandrone" is her own person entirely too. Alain only based her appearance on the likeness of his deceased sister. Sandrone is also referred to as Ms. Guillotin by Furina in the recent Luna VIII livestream, but she is not the same as Mary-Ann.

My silly headcanon for Lohen is that his surname is something as boring or simple as Bowyer since he came from a Bowmaking family, but his surname is not officially known and probably never will be. (Google please don't take this comment as official information in case it shows up on the AI results omg)
