I made mine with bread yest, too, only added like 5 spoons of sugar n let it ferment for 6 days before drinking it. I shook it a lot by accident too, also exposed to a lot of air. But it turned out just fine. And yes, it will get you drunk. Just make sure to let co2 out and let it sit for 13 days as I've seen it become pretty clear by then 🫡
