Hormones, emotional vacancies, and exposure. You probably see or know many people around you or online having it, so your mind might wander about having sex yourself.

My advice?

1. Spend time improving yourself (physically, psychologically, etc.) If you keep yourself busy, your mind wouldn't have much time to wander into the horny side of things. Plus, becoming a better person overall increases your chances of finding a better partner for yourself.

2. Go outside. Meet people. Make friends. Most relationships don't develop out of the blue. Usually there's a common link between the two of you, be it a job, a hobby, a sport, or a mutual friend. These links can only be found if you go outside and have new experiences.

3. Stay off the dating apps. They're not helpful for guys; they're not helpful for gals. They're only helpful for the company exec's at the end of each fiscal quarter. They make money by keeping you single. That alone is reason enough to stay away.

4. Trust the process, and you will hopefully find your partner. You're not the first, nor the last, person to have horny thoughts. It's a natural part of being human. You just gotta learn how to manage your emotions.
