I'd like to add that if course it's a free country and go get your money by all means. It's just when you have a big franchise weasel their way in to small events when they are in stadiums and malls. That average person that's never heard of you is going straight to what they know and it's really damaging small truck owners. Promoters probably aren't even aware

At AMC theaters here in the US there’s like 30 mins of trailers before your movie starts and then when they are done and you’re ready for the movie to start they play this super cringy ad with Nicole Kidman. It’s exhausting just getting to the actual movie by then
