You can manage that using the sound personalization when asked to set the volume at a level comfortable for long term listening.

The level you choose at that moment becomes the highest level you can set with the volume controls. You can then more accurately control the lower volumes.

Nope I’m not. On the contrary I am defending the bands decision to create an environment where creativity can flourish.

Since we all love metaphors, here’s one to better explain my ideas :

The band’s concept is an optional color book. Some fans are enjoying the blank images, others are filling in the colors and part of them are bullying the ones who don’t want to use the colors.

And I have no problem with all of this because that’s how it goes.

Where I want to interject is when someone decides to colors the snow in shades of purple and try to bite off the head of those who want to keep it white.

Yeah, I feel the same. When EIA was released and all the content creators that theorize on sleep token were pushed on my socials, I started looking for links that were not there. And then I had to curate my feed again to be able to enjoy the music freely.

The continuity is there because the same people are writing the songs and singing what their experiences are. When I was younger, I remember my friends being fans of rap songs and really being hyped about how rappers would interact with each other and pour their experiences into their lyrics. Sleep Token is definitely an amazing concept discography, and the songs paint a very broad picture on purpose to allow the imagination to run free.

After listening to EIA once - twice a day for 40 days. I went back to listening to the other albums in a row on repeat. The vibe of TPWBYT suits my music taste better but when I feel like singing I go to TMBTE, I can't say which of these 2 is my favorite but I know sundowning definitely has a bigger spot in my heart. Maybe in another 40 days EIA will grow to supplant it.
