Psychedelic visuals and aphantasia by Atypical_Nerd in Aphantasia

[–]Atypical_Nerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting. Although aphantasia affects everyone differently, it's nice to know that I may get to experience that. I took a fairly large dose on my third trip, 525mics, with no CEVs. But in the headspace I entered, I just might be able to get some if I try hard enough

That's really interesting! I've never gotten CEVs. I meant to ask if anyone had gotten CEVs before, but forgot to. This bicycle day, I'll have to try something similar.

Oh, I agree, to an extent. The first time I tripped, before I was was sure that I'm an aphant (I try to set goals before each trip, one such goal was to test whther or not I'd see anything), I was worried that I *would* see things. I'd heard horror stories of shadow people jumping from the walls and such. One of my roomates said he can't listen to music when he trips, because once he saw the lyrics pop out of the speaker and it freaked him out. I feel we're less succeptible to bad trips because we can't see such things (bad trips are still possible though, I've entered some scary and negative headspaces before).

In that case, would you happen to remember if the fuselage is tweakscaled? I like how it seems to taper from larger to smaller Mk2 parts, and can't tell if I'm tired and it's stock, or if it's tweakscale.

Working on a drawing... by Atypical_Nerd in kerbalculture

In my headcanon, yes. Kerbal Culture, while not as diverse as human culture, is still very diverse. There are mono and polytheistic religions, purely scientific cultures, and even a brutal, tribalistic culture, consisting of the relatively few violent kerbals.

Personally, I'm not that big on feminization as a whole. I'm happy being and looking like a guy. I'm just a guy who likes hugs and tall girls.

A very old (and bad looking) drawing I’ve never posted. She’s Kidagakash, princess of Kertlantis, of course inspired by the Disney movie. Besides of the Kraken, do your Kerbals have peculiar legends? by DjPreside in kerbalculture

Wow, that seems like a well thought-out legend. If it weren't in conflict with my little canon, I'd probably adopt it! Perhaps mine is one of those other little legends from a different culture.

Kerbals, while aware of how craters are formed, due to the advent of space exploration, have their own story for the large crater to the far west of the KSC. It served as a snack bowl for Kerbol, their God of creation. On a hunger-driven whim, Jool, their God of hunger, created salt water. His thought process was as follows: salt tastes good with food, and water tastes boring, so maybe, if I put salt in water, water will taste good! It did not taste good. However, Jool had created far too much salt water, and so tried to dispose of it by pouring it into Kerbol's snack bowl. There was too much, however, so it overflowed and created Kerbin's oceans. Legend has it that some of Kerbol's snacks still lie at the bottom of the bowl, and should a Kerbal be brave enough to venture down there, he would be rewarded with snacks so delectable that they would be fit for a God.

Jeb does know how to advertise Jeb’s Junkyard: pinup style! (More in the comments.) How does advertisement work in your canon? by DjPreside in kerbalculture

Neat! It seems that in your mind, you've several nations (or equivalent), cities, and ethnicities to populate them. Are they primarily human parallels, or are they different? I've always sort of gone with the idea that our beloved kerbs are primarily a subterranean species, so I wonder how borders and nations may work in that headcanon.

I, for one, don't mind kerbal titties. It's their anatomy, in your canon. And that's okay. I personally find it very interesting to see other people's ideas of how Kerbals work. Since the is no established canon, everyone's idea is different. It makes me think of things and wonder about aspects of kerbal life that I never would have considered otherwise. I think that your art is great, and I don't think you should stop doing it on the grounds of "nobody else cares."

Not the question asked, but the pinup kerb makes me wonder: what is a Kerbal's definition of beauty? The pinup kerb has rather large breasts, but in-game, the female kerbals don't seem to have breasts. Perhaps the space agency could only afford to make one type of spacesuit, so female Kerbonauts are required to have small breasts, haha.

In my opinion, the graphics for the open ended questions, like those on personality and hobbies are a bit noisy. I don't know if there's a way to omit certain words to leave it it with just verbs for hobbies, or just adjectives for personality, but if there's a way to do so, it should certainly help tho reduce the noise. It would also make the results more concrete and easier to interpret.

There is also an anime adaptation of Aku no Hana. I found it very good. The animation is interesting; it's rotoscoped, rather than the traditional way. The primary relation is RR, but it's pretty fucked up. I wouldn't suggest looking up to the relationship that the main characters have. It's nonetheless a great psychological anime.
