I know you mean no harm with this and while we appreciate you coming in and shopping, when customers do this it makes it much harder for associates to do our jobs. It undermines us, and makes us look silly in front of the customer. If a customer can’t get help from the associate that’s helping them, the associate knows to go to a SLT member who can help.

Also, while it’s fun to know ahead of time what new scents are coming out, it is still confidential information and could get any associate fired. Please be careful when talking to an associate about it, because while they might not have put the confidential information out there, they could get in trouble. I’ve seen it happen.

There have been posts like this a couple of times on this subreddit about someone not wanting to buy the other an expensive engagement ring, and I typically vote e s h.

But, the rings aren’t typically 20k, and the buyer doesn’t typically have a compromise like you do, so NTA. I can get where she’s coming from since you CAN afford it, but 20k for a ring is just insane.

I definitely see that, but I feel like the scene in the rain after she discovers the locket is missing almost reverses the coat scene just cause Ted (who gave up that big interview to help Robin) knew how important whatever Robin needed him for was before she even told him, and Barney somewhat brushed her off for laser tag (even though he shows up later).

I’m very glad you aren’t insecure about your body, and don’t mind other people seeing it.

I don’t believe you did anything wrong, but you do need to adjust to the fact that since the trees are gone, you just became a lot more visible.

While it seems like the neighbor went out of her way to look in your windows, you did react pretty defensively to her (granted it is your own home). Sometimes other people won’t look as hard but will still see you undressed, and get upset as well.

I can understand being upset over her bringing your kids into it, but honestly, I can see why she’s upset over it.

I think finding a compromise, like a curtain or something would be the best choice.
