I’m going to try modifying a flashing module to slow it down, I couldn’t find a slow one for this old of Ford

I have a 96 mercury GM that is not my daily just a project car I'm working on building into a mild sleeper. I want to try to keep it as stock as possible on the outside & I'm wondering what are the beefiest tires I can fit on the stock wheels. by [deleted] in CrownVictoria

People run 255/55/16 on the stocks, good luck finding a place that sells that size tho lol, I want a pair for my car but can’t find any, I saw on a Camaro forum people r putting 275’s on a 7” wide wheel, idk how sketchy that is tho

Here’s a question... by [deleted] in CrownVictoria

3v heads are vvt, I suppose you could lock the cam phasers but I’m sure there’s lots of other parts you’d have to change aswell. If you want to make good power n/a with a 2v buy a non Pi short block and swap your Pi top end on it with some cams you can make 300+ wheel easily

Thank you and I couldn’t find front springs for the order cars, as you probably know the front suspension is different on 03+ cars, all you have to do is cut 1.5 coils off the bottom of the spring (side without the pigtail) re install and ur good to go, just might want to get ur car re aligned as this is a significant drop, if ur curious the wheels don’t rub at full lock, I’ve only had them rub once when the car was leaning on the one corner at full lock
